We at Omni Analytics frequently research and prototype new data science methods. In this case, we've created an algorithm which attempts to compute an ideal number of clusters based on gaps in a path between the various points. You can use this application to run our algorithm on the Iris data, or your own data, to get an estimate for an ideal clustering solution. Simply select your data and variables, as well as the label variable, choose a clustering method, and click Compute. You can also adjust parameters of the plot output that gets displayed upon computation of the results.
